The theme of FINT 2016 will be on “Reaching Out” to expand our thinking and influences and encourage wider participation in our community. Throughout the conference we aim to invite practitioners from a range of backgrounds to share their own personal experiences of trust and challenge us to consider trust across a variety of contexts. We are also particularly excited to welcome Prof Paul Zak and Prof Bill McEvily as keynote speakers at the conference. As a neuroeconomist, Paul Zak encourages us to reflect on the physiological underpinnings of trust and how neuroscience can be used to help us to understand high trust organisations. Prof Bill McEvily has been a prominent author in the trust literature for a number of years, writing several seminal papers which continue to challenge our thinking and develop our conceptualisation of the trust process.
